Town Life Magazine, a guide to living in the White Bear Area

This is an exciting year for Town Life. In celebration of White Bear Township's 150th Anniversary, the magazine is featuring historic articles, photographs and events in every issue.
As many of you know, I have researched, designed and written a history book about White Bear, as well. It is called “White Bear: A History,” and will be in bookstores this summer.
In order to give me time to do this, I will be on sabbatical from the magazine until the release of the book. This means there will be no July/Aug issue this year; the next issue will be the Sept/Oct (“Back to School”) issue. This should not present a hardship to readers because my May/June issue included information about all Sesquicentennial, Manitou Days and Marketfest events.
Distribution
Town Life is mailed to 10,000 upscale homes in White Bear Township, White Bear Lake, North Oaks, Gem Lake, and Dellwood. Another 600 copies are distributed via subscriptions, retail stores, libraries and governmental offices.
History
In 1999, I started Town Life Magazine. It has since earned a reputation as a local magazine of both beauty and substance. Readers have responded to the magazine with enthusiasm and many keep every issue on their bookshelves.
Facts
Town Life is a bimonthly, color-glossy magazine tailored to the White Bear Area. It contains well-written and beautifully-photographed articles about Arts & Entertainment; History; Politics; Education; News and Events; People; and Children's Corner in addition to serving as White Bear Township's official newsletter. All of the writers, artists and photographers included within its pages live or work in the community.
